Megan Nielsen Briar Top Hack

Yikes! It’s been almost a month since my last blog post! I’ve been super busy with some things I can not discuss at the moment and getting back into the work groove (boo hoo), that I haven’t had much time to share my summer makes. So, I thought I would share a quick post to show you a tank that I’ve been living in this summer.

It may not look like it, but it’s the Megan Nielsen Briar Top. Megan posted a few variations for the briar top on her blog and I came across this sleeveless version and this ruffle version. I fell in love with the two versions, so I decided to combine them into one and I am so in love the result! This top is so comfy and cool for the summer. I made it out of some seriously scrappy knit from Girl Charlee that was leftover from my Penelope Peplum Dress. What have you been living in this summer? Are you ready to start sewing for the cooler weather?
